A Lockport man is under arrest for allegedly calling in a threat to a bank in December of last year.

According to a written release New York State Police say 35-year-old Richard D. Brady was taken into custody with the help of New York State Parole and the Town of Tonawanda Police.

Troopers accuse Brady of making "...a threat telephonically" to a bank in the Lockport area on December 17, 2015.

Brady, who was located by police in Amherst, was charged with aggravated harassment in the second degree.

He was sent to the Niagara County Jail on a parole warrant.
