Loud Boom Believed to Be Beaver Dam Explosion

Some residents of one New York town have reported hearing a loud, worrisome "booming" noise yesterday.  

Authorities in Oswego County now say that they believe that the noise was the result of a beaver dam being blown up near a resdience in New Haven.

MetroSource is reporting that a man was apparently trying to blow up the dam near State Route 104B and there is no threat to the public.
