Lourdes is holding a Medical Mission at Home event at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 701 West Main Street in Endicott on Saturday, October 14th.  The event begins at 8:00 AM and continues until 3:30 PM and will provide free medical services and financial counseling.  No appointments are needed and individuals will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

Speaking on WNBF First News on Lourdes Healthline on September 28th Sue Bretscher, Chief Mission Officer and Susan Hiza, Director of Informatics: Nursing, said that the Medical Mission at Home event will have over 200 Lourdes staff members volunteering their time to provide examinations and health care free of charge.

No insurance is needed to consult with health care personnel or to be seen that day. Our Lady of Good Counsel Church was chosen as the site because it has a large facility and is easily accessible either by walking or driving.  Lourdes will be offering medical services including Mammography, flu shots, foot care, Hope dispensary pharmacy services along with financial counseling. Handicapped transportation can be arranged by calling 321-8520 and shuttle bus service will run from St. Ambrose Church on Washington Avenue and the Price Chopper parking lot in Endicott.
