Hannibal, MO (WIBX) - With a heart as big as his name implies, a nine-month old little Yorkie called Rambo waited patiently at a rest stop for two days after he was accidentally left there by his owner.

After a brief but life-changing stop in Missouri, truck driver Michael Siau was headed to North Dakota and had gotten as far as Cedar Rapids, Iowa when he realized that the puppy was not asleep in the back of his rig.

He called an animal control officer who discovered Rambo waiting patiently at the rest stop for his master.

The story has a happy ending. With a little help from newfound friends who heard the pair's story, the two are back together once again.  The original story appeared in the Hannibal Courier-Post.
