Madison County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Vehicle Break Ins

The Madison County Sheriff's Office is investigating a recent series of vehicle break-ins in the Town of Sullivan along Route 31 and the Clark Road area.

The incidents took place in the overnight hours. Items taken included credit cards and electronic devices.

Deputies say in addition, a vehicle was reported stolen from Oswego Road in Sullivan Tuesday morning.

Sheriff Allen Riley is reminding residents to park in a well-lit area, keep their car doors locked, use an alarm if their vehicle is equipped with one and to keep valuables out of sight.
