Madison County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Daytime Burglaries
Wampsville, NY (WIBX) – As the Madison County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a rash of daytime burglaries, a $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever’s responsible for one of the break-ins.
Authorities say a significant amount of precious jewelry was stolen during the July 22nd burglary at a home on Weller Road in the Town of Lenox.
A number of other burglaries took place that day along Route 31 in Lenox and the Town of Sullivan.
The public is asked to be on the lookout for a dark blue or purple sedan, either a Hyundai or Kia,
