Madison Sheriff’s Deputies Search For Missing Car

Sullivan, NY (WIBX) - Madison County Sheriff's Deputies are asking for help in finding a stolen vehicle.

According to officials, a dark blue 2000 Plymouth Neon was taken from Regas Auto Sales in the Town of Sullivan, yesterday afternoon between 3 and 6-30 p.m.

The vehicle did not have license plates. The VIN number found on the vehicle is 1B3ES46C2YD800765.

Madison County Sheriff Allen Riley urges anyone with information, or was in the area of Route 5 and saw suspicious activity, to call the Sheriff's Department at (315) 366-2311, or through the Sheriff's Office website at www.madisoncountysheriff.us, then clicking "Reporting A Crime/Drug Tip." All tips will be kept confidential.

UPDATE: The sheriff's office now says the vehicle was not stolen but moved to another lot by an employee.
