Man Accused Of Repeatedly Punching Girlfriend In The Face
Utica, NY (WIBX) – Utica police arrested a man for allegedly repeatedly punching his girlfriend in the face during a domestic dispute. In addition to sustaining facial injuries, police say, 40-year-old Christopher Knopka, of Taylor Avenue in Utica, may have even broken the women’s nose during his drunken tirade last night.
He fled the scene before police arrived but was subsequently taken into custody near his home. UPD says Knopka had four open warrants at the time of his arrest.
Knopka is facing the following charges:
- Assault 3rd-misdemeanor
- 3 open UPD warrants
- 1 open Oneida County warrant
