Man Accused Of Trying To Sell Stun Gun

A Lee Center man was arrested for allegedly trying to sell a stun gun over on an internet website designed to buy and sell property.

27-year old Christopher Thayer was contacted by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office through the website.

Members of the Sheriff's Office met with Thayer as prospective buyers and after seeing the device and verifying it was in working order, Thayer was taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
