Man Armed With Handgun Arrested In Rome

Rome Police arrested a Brooklyn man after he allegedly displayed a handgun on the 300 block of East Bloomfield Street.

Police responded to a reported dispute and an officer saw 23-year old Orvil Glynn, holding a handgun while arguing with another man

The officer ordered Glynn to drop the gun and to get on the ground, which Glynn did do.

He was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say additional charges are pending.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
