Utica, NY (WIBX) - A traffic stop in Utica last night, led to the arrest of a suspect accused of driving drunk, with four young passengers. The children were ages 4, 6, 9 and 10, and police say they were all riding without their seat belts on.

A sobriety test revealed that the driver, 39-year-old Eric Glasper of Green Street in Utica, had a blood alcohol content of .17-percent. Glasper was taken to jail and charged with the following violations:

  • DWI- misdemeanor (.17% BAC)
  • DWI-misdemeanor
  • 4 counts of DWI - Leandra's law
  • 4 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child - a Misdemeanor
  • 6 traffic summons
