Man Charged In After-Hours Stabbing On Jay Street

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police have made in arrest in connection with a weekend stabbing at an after-hours party.

Police say the stabbing occurred very early Sunday morning on the 700 block of Jay Street.

Joan Vicioso, 27, of Utica, is charged with assault in the second degree, a Class D felony, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say the victim, who has been released from the hospital, was stabbed several times in the face, hand and chest.
