A Whitestown man has been arrested for allegedly stealing almost $400 in goods from the Runnings store in Rome.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 48-year old Christian Kukowski was seen taking a jacket and pair of boots into a changing room at the store.

They say Kukowski then walked out of the store wearing the jacket and boots.

Deputies say surveillance footage shown on several forms of media led to Kukowski as a suspect.

Kukowski is charged with petty larceny.
