Man Charged With Dragging Utica Police Officer

A Utica man is facing charges after allegedly dragging a Utica Police office with an ATV .

Police say 23-year old Zeffeire Hobbs was driving the ATV recklessly in the Oneida Square area.

They say Hobbs dragged the officer as he attempted to flee before striking a pole.

Hobbs was charged with assault and resisting arrest.

He was also issued 14 traffic summons'

The officer suffered a shoulder injury.
