Man Charged With DWI After Alleged Crash Into Building

A Waterville man has been charged with DWI after allegedly crashing his car into a building in Vernon.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 23-year old Jacob Mosher, who was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control of his vehicle on Youngs Road.

The car struck a telephone pole, spun 180 degrees and came to rest after hitting a building.  Several items inside the building were damaged from the impact and from flying debris.

Mosher, who suffered minor injuries, was also ticketed for several traffic violations.
