BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A 30-year-old man is due back in court this week after he was arraigned over the weekend on murder charges stemming from a fatal shooting outside a Buffalo bar.

Jeremy Wright was arraigned in Buffalo City Court on Saturday morning and was ordered held without bail in the Erie County Jail pending a court appearance Thursday.

Authorities say Wright and 37-year-old Saleem Merukeb, of Buffalo, got into a fight early on the morning of Nov. 3 outside a bar on Allen Street in the city's popular Allentown neighborhood.

Police say Wright left the scene, then returned with a gun and shot Merukeb multiple times. His family says Merukeb was the father of two children.

A phone message left Monday with Wright's attorney, Brian Parker, wasn't returned.
