Man Charged With Passing Phony $10’s
Sylvan Beach, NY (WIBX) - State Police have arrested a Rome man for allegedly passing counterfeit money in Sylvan Beach.
Police say 34-year old Neil Stanhope paid a delivery driver for New York Pizzeria with three bogus $10 bills
Stanhope was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony.
He was arraigned and sent to the Oneida County jail on $10, 000 dollars bail.
UPDATE: Stanhope was found NOT guilty.
