A Utica man has been arrested for allegedly possessing heroin at the Oneida County Office building.

38-year old Lewis Moore was charged after an investigation revealed he was possibly involved in drug activity while at the building. The Sheriff's Office says Moore was in possession of heroin and marijuana.

Moore was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was sent to the County jail on a parole violation.
