Man Charged With Promoting Prison Contraband
A Brooklyn man is facing multiple charges after allegedly trying to smuggle drugs into the Mohawk Correctional Facility in Rome.
State Police say 38-year old Nigel Stallings was in possession of suboxone and the synthetic drug K-2 when he entered the prison to visit an inmate.
Stalling was charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was sent to the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 bail.
