Man Charged With Stealing From Little Falls Little League

A Mechanicville man has been arrested for stealing over $6,000 from the Little Falls Little League.

41-year old Edward Popiel was charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records.

Little Falls Police say the alleged theft took place during the 2012 season when Popiel was President of the league.

The Herkimer County District Attorney's Office assisted police in their investigation.
