NEW YORK (AP) — A New York City man has been convicted of fatally shooting his former girlfriend outside of their then-2-year-old child's daycare in Harlem.

Thirty-three-year-old Eugene Miller was found guilty in the murder of 30-year-old Rosetta Ewell after about an hour of jury deliberation Tuesday. The Daily News reports Miller will be sentenced on June 28 and faces life in prison.

Prosecutors say Miller stalked and harassed Ewell after she tried to end their relationship. Miller confronted her and shot her in July 2015. Ewell was a mother of three children.
