Man Crashes Car In Verona

Verona, NY (WIBX) - A man believed to be under the influence of "bath salts" and marijuana crashed his pickup truck on Sand Hill Road in Verona.

Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies say 30-year old Gerald Hall passed out at the wheel and hit a mailbox and a utility pole.

He was taken to Rome Hospital for evaluation.

Hall was charged with driving while ability impaired by drug, unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to keep right.

Authorities say Hall was in possession of "bath salts."

The investigation is continuing and further charges may be pending.
