Man Crashes Into New Hartford Building

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) -New Hartford Police say a man crashed his car into a building at the Hollywood Video Plaze on Commercial Drive.

Police say 19-year old Coin Sprauge of New Hartford was backing up in the parking lot when his vehicle struck a curb.

Sprauge went to hit his brake after feeling the bump of the curb but hit the accelerator instead, sending the car through the large glass windows on the side of the old Hollywood Video store.

The building is vacant.

No one was injured.

No tickets have been issued and the accident is still under investigation.
