Man Dies After Being Hit, Pinned By Car In Driveway

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Police say a man has died after he was pinned under a car after the vehicle hit him in the driveway of a Rochester home.

When police arrived at the scene of the accident on Henrietta Street on the city's east side they found the man pinned by the car. Emergency crews jacked up the vehicle to free the man, who died after being taken to a Rochester hospital.

Police say the man was walking when the vehicle hit him around 3 a.m. Thursday. His name hasn't been released.

The woman who was driving the car was being questioned but hasn't been charged.
