Man Facing Multiple DWI Charges After Returning U-Haul Truck

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police arrested a Cooperstown man after he allegedly returned a U-Haul truck while appearing intoxicated. According to a company employee, 49-year-old Joseph Pesola also left an open beer can inside the cab of the truck when he brought it back to the business on Lomond Place in Utica. Officials were called to the scene after the employee confronted Pesola. The suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with the following offenses:

• DWI (common law)
• DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more)
• Operating a motor vehicle while consuming alcohol on a highway
