Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man allegedly went of a violent rampage, destroying household items, including his wife's car, after being denied $50 to purchase drugs. Utica police say it happened this morning when 57-year-old Leonard Quiles of Conkling Avenue, couldn't accept the "No" answer his wife gave him for his demands, which were followed by threats to destroy the television with a chair.

Police say Quiles subsequently acted out his threats by destroying numerous household items. He allegedly threw a chair at his wife's car when she tried leaving--breaking her windshield and causing extensive body damage when he used the chair to smash the car.

Quiles still won't get the $50 he wanted because police took him to jail, charging him with two felony counts of Criminal Mischief.
