Utica, NY (WIBX) - A man with an active order of protection against him is accused of going on a rampage in his girlfriend's home. Utica police say, 35-year-old Raymond Fogarty of Mohawk Street in Utica, went to the victim's home last night around 9:30, and became angry with her. He allegedly threw items around the house, broke a kitchen window and even tipped over a table with the woman's child still on it.

Fogarty is also accused of strangling his girlfriend. He was subsequently taken into custody at his residence and charged with the following violations:

  • Criminal Obstruction of Breathing - Misdemeanor
  • Criminal Mischief - Misdemeanor
  • Harassment - Violation
  • Criminal Contempt - Class E Felony
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Child - Misdemeanor
