Man Injured After Shooting on Oneida Street in Utica

One man is recovering and police are looking for suspects following a shooting on the 1400 block of Oneida Street in Utica.

Police responded to reports of shots fired shortly after 5 Monday evening and came upon the 20-year-old victim.

Police say his injuries do not appear to be life threatening. Utica police also responded to a shots fired report near Bleecker and Nichols streets a short time later.

The Utica OD reports that at about that same time, cops were also called to an armed robbery in another area of the city.
