Man Killed In Madison County Crash

Sullivan, NY (WIBX) - A Canastota man is dead following a one-car accident in Madison County.

State Police say 82-year old Charles Stevens lost control of his pickup truck on Lakeport Road in the Town of Sullivan just after 2:00 Thursday afternoon.

The pickup left the road, then struck a culvert and some small trees before overturning into a stream.

Stevens was pronounced dead at a Syracuse Hospital.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call State Police at 366-6000.
