BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A western New York man has pleaded guilty to setting a fire that forced dozens of people from their apartments and caused an estimated $2 million in damages.

Erie County prosecutors say 29-year-old Jonathan Jimenez of Buffalo could receive up to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty Monday to attempted arson. He'll be sentenced next month.

Authorities say Jimenez broke into a Buffalo apartment building around 1 a.m. March 11 and started clothes on fire in two closets. About 90 people in more than 30 apartments were displaced.
