Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police had to taser a 74-year old man.

According to authorities, police were  called to the Price Chopper in North Utica for a trespass complaint and when cops arrived, they say Allen Coleman became combative with police, swinging his metal cane at the officer's head and threatening to kill him.

At the time of his arrest, police say Coleman was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was arrested on several charges, including Menacing and Criminal Possession of a weapon, both felonies.
