Man Threatening To Kill Himself And His Ex-Wife Holds Police At Bay Before He Is taken Into Custody

A man threatening to kill himself and his ex-wife held police at bay last night.

45-Year old Richard Harvey had sent text messages and photos to his ex-wife, one which showed him holding a gun below his chin.

Police eventually got into the Mandeville Street home, where they found several long gun and marijuana plants growing inside.

He was taken into custody and brought to the hospital.  Charges against Harvey are pending a mental health evaluation.
