The Verona Beach man charged with shooting and killing a horse in Kirkland last December was in Oneida County Court today.

43-year old Robert Webster, who previously pleaded guilty to criminal mischief, was sentenced to one and-a-third to four years in state prison.

He was also ordered to pay restitution to the horse's owner.

The plea also satisfied all pending charges in Oneida County, including charges of arson for allegedly setting his father's house on fire and impersonating an FBI agent.
