Man’s Body Found In Ilion [UPDATE]

Authorities are investigating a man's death in Ilion.

Ilion Police say the man's body was found Sunday afternoon inside a home on Center Street.

The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family members.

The investigation is continuing.

An autopsy will be conducted today.

UPDATE 5/6 3:29 p.m.- The name of the man whose body was found in a house at 31 Center Street in Ilion has been released.

Ilion Police say 36-year old Shawn Wilsey was found dead yesterday afternoon.

Police say the cause of death is still to be determined pending the results of a toxicology report.

The investigation is continuing and police say no other information will be released at this time.
