Marcy Man Arrested After Domestic Dispute, Hitting Trooper

A New York State Trooper was injured on Wednesday while investigating a domestic incident in Marcy.

State Police say Trooper Jeffery Ruhmel was hit in the face during the physical altercation between Mark Tucci and a family member.

Trooper Ruhmel and his partner were able to take Tucci into custody, but the Trooper did suffer some injuries to his face.

Tucci was charged with second degree assault, resisting arrest and harassment. He was sent to the Oneida County Jail on $30,000 bail.
