Marcy Woman Indicted For Stealing Dead Mother’s VA Benefits

A Marcy woman has been indicted for the alleged theft of her deceased mother's VA benefits.

53-Year old Michelle Gulla was in federal court in Syracuse today to answer the charges.

Gulla is accused of stealing nearly $18,000 in United States Department of Veterans Affairs compensation benefits paid to her deceased mother.

A trial has been scheduled for July.

If convicted, Gulla faces a maximum sentence of ten years in prison.
