Mark David Chapman Denied Parole Again

Mark David Chapman has been denied parole again by the New York State Board of Parole.

This was Chapman’s eighth appearance before the Parole Board.

Chapman was first eligible for parole in December of 2000.

His next scheduled appearance will be in August of 2016.

The 59-year old Chapman is serving a sentence of 20 years to life at the maximum security Wende Correctional Facility for the 1980 murder of former Beatle John Lennon.
