Marlins Top Mets, Reyes’ Hit Streak At 25

Josh Reyes had an infield single to extend his hit steak to 25 games and the Miami Marlins used a four run fourth inning to top the Mets 4-2 on Tuesday night at Citi Field.
Catcher John Buck had two hits and a pair of RBI’s, with Carlos Lee and Giancarlo Stanton each driving in a run to beat Jonathon Niese (8-6).
Marlins’ starter Wade LeBlanc only tossed four innings. Carlos Zambrano pitched 1 1/3 innings of relief to pick up the win and move his record to 7-9.
Steve Cishek earned his seventh save.
Daniel Murphy had two hits, including a solo-homer, and Andres Torres drove in a run for the Mets (53-57) who have lost three of four.
