Maya Angelou To Speak At MVCC

Utica, NY (WIBX) – Mohawk Valley Community College’s Cultural Series will present world renowned poet and author Maya Angelou as the keynote speaker of its Fall 2011 season. Angelou will appear on Wednesday, October 12th at 7:00 in the 2,800 seat field house at the new Robert Jorgensen Athletic and Event Center,

It will be the first Cultural Series act to appear in the newly completed building on MVCC’s Utica campus.

Tickets will go on sale to the public starting Monday, September 12th, at 9 a.m.

Tickets will be $40 for the general public, $25 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students.
