Mayor’s Sweeps Hit Six Month Milestone

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Make it 26 consecutive weeks and counting.

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri's latest Quality of Life Sweep will mark exactly a half-a-year that the mayor has taken city government into the streets.

Today' sweep will begin at noon at the corner of Maple and York Streets in West Utica.

Palmieri says the sweeps will continue until the weather gets too cold or the snow gets too deep, whichever comes first.
