Mets starter Dillion Gee (5-7) was charged with four runs over six innings, but just two earned.
L.A. got two hits and an RBI each from Dee Gordon and Adam Kennedy. James Loney added a pair of RBI as well.
Ruben Tejada had two of New York's five hits for the game, while Scott Hairston accounted for the team's only RBI.
