Mets Prospect Matt Harvey To Make MLB Debut This Week

One the Mets’ highly touted pitching prospects is preparing to make his big league debut this week.
Matt Harvey will be officially called up later this week with a scheduled start Thursday against the Diamondbacks in Arizona, according to Mets.com.
The team’s site reports: The 6-foot-4, 225-pound University of North Carolina product has made 20 starts for Buffalo this season, going 7-5 with a 3.68 ERA. He has given up 97 hits in 110 innings, with 48 walks and 112 strikeouts.
MLB.com ranks Harvey as the No.2 prospect in the Mets farm system and top 30 league-wide.
