DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Miami Dolphins reserve defensive lineman Derrick Shelby has been reinstated from his suspension, which came after he was arrested on misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and trespassing at a nightclub.

Shelby's reinstatement was announced Tuesday, eight days after he was suspended indefinitely.

Shelby has pleaded not guilty to the charges. The third-year veteran played in the first four games this season but missed Sunday's loss to Green Bay.
