Minor Injuries Reported After A Car Crash In Kirkland

Kirkland, NY (WIBX) - A Waterville man and his wife escaped serious injury after their car overturned in the Town of Kirkland.

Police say Stanley and Gethel Cesaire were traveling on State Route 12 Tuesday morning when Mr. Cesaire lost control of his car. The car crossed the centerline, struck an embankment and overturned onto its roof.

Route 12 was closed for about an hour between Chuckery Corners and Tibbitts Road while cleanup was taking place.

Cesaire was ticketed for driving at a speed that was not reasonable for road conditions.
