NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities in western New York say a 65-year-old missing man has been found after spending 11 days in the woods without food.

North Tonawanda police say John Tylock was found Tuesday, disoriented and covered in bug bites. He'd been missing since July 29, when his wife said he failed to return from a walk.

Searchers in helicopters and on foot with dogs had been looking for Tylock. Local media report that volunteers found him in a wooded area about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
