Cortland County Sheriff’s officials are issuing and appeal asking for help in finding a retired Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputy’s police badge and county ID.

The seven-point star badge, that has the word “Retired” along the bottom edge, may have been lost when the officer was working a security detail at Liverpool High School on September 25, but the badge could have changed hands since then.

Anyone with information about the location of the badge and ID are asked to call Onondaga County Sheriff’s Officer Munroe at: (315) 435-2963.
