A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Oneida and Herkimer Counties beginning Monday evening and lasting through 4pm Tuesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has the advisory beginning at 7pm in the Herkimer-area, and at 10pm in the Utica-area. Expect a mix of snow, sleet and freezing with accumulations of 2-4 inches possible.

Overnight lows on Monday will fall into the mid-20s and high temperatures on Tuesday are expected in the mid-30s. Forecasters say temps will climb back into the 40s on Wednesday with a mix of rain and snow.
