Moe’s Southwest Grill Coming To North Genesee Street

Another Moe's Southwest Grill is coming to the area.

Utica Mayor Rob Palmieri says the former Friendly's Restaurant on North Genesee Street will be torn down and will be replaced by a multi-tenant building anchored by Moe's.

The demolition is expected to begin soon and plans for the new building will be submitted to the city Planning Board within the next few weeks.

Construction of the new building is expected to be completed by the fall.

A Moe's opened on Commercial Drive in New Hartford in December.
