Mohawk Graduate Creates Logo for New Central Valley Academy (Ilion-Mohawk)

Mohawk Central School graduate Hal Hefner, now living in California, created the new logo for Central Valley Academy, the merged version of the former Ilion and Mohawk school districts.

Hefner, who is a graphic artist, donated his services to the new school district.

"I think it's important to give back," said Hefner, who now lives in California.  Hefner said the students served as 'his client' in the process of creating the logo just like he works with paid clients in his industry.

Hefner works as a graphic artists and creates art for comic books, as well.
