Mohawk Man Charged With Welfare Fraud

The Herkimer County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Mohawk man on felony welfare fraud charges.

38-year old Timothy Horner allegedly received over $1,400 worth of benefits he was not eligible to receive.

Horner is charged with welfare fraud and grand larceny.

Horner was arraigned in the Village of Herkimer Court on the charges.  He was released and is scheduled to return at a later date.
